SAP Ariba project implemented at Magyar Posta

At the end of 2022, together with DOQSYS Business Solutions Zrt. as a subcontractor, we implemented a successful SAP Ariba project at Magyar Posta, one of the main goals of which was to extend the cloud-based SAP Ariba solution to the operational level of procurement. This required the development of an implementation service for the SAP Ariba Buying module, the integration of SAP Ariba and SAP ECC. One of the key and unique tasks of the project was to develop the integration between the cloud-based SAP Ariba and the on-premise SAP ECC (ERP) system. 
 
The project lasted 1 year and the solution was developed in two phases, in which the related project tasks were carried out by the project team using hybrid (agile and iterative) implementation methods. A key element of the project's success was the development and operation of a highly collaborative joint project team, both at operational and management level.
 
A special feature of the project was the development of the Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) portal. This is a cloud-based programme on the SAP Cloud Platform supporting the integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC (ERP), where the connection settings can be made. CIG also provides statistics on monitored transactions, logs transactions between systems, and records and stores possible error messages, thus supporting operational tasks.
 
The use of the integrated solution developed during the project will not only significantly reduce the cycle time of the claims process, but will also improve the user experience for employees.
